We are the original creators of the designer screen. Founded by Sophie in 2017, we hand-design, craft and assemble screens that transform homes and gardens. Everything we do is driven by quality, style and Envy – if Sophie wouldn’t have it in her home, if it doesn’t create that ‘ooh, I want that’ feeling, we wouldn’t make it.

    From cosy rooms in Northern England, to sun-drenched spaces in Southern Spain, we’re delighted to transform homes and gardens across Europe. Orders sent outside the UK can have VAT removed (if requested) but the client does have to pay any applicable taxes / duties.

    Working with charities is truly close to our hearts. We donated Covid screens throughout the pandemic, giving ongoing support to the NSPCC. Now we’re donating to NGOs supporting the Ukraine crisis.

THE STORY SO FAR

  • 2017

    I started the business when I was pregnant with my third baby, my house was overrun with screens and we picked and packed every order ourselves.

  • 2018

    I added more designs and developed our posts to fit perfectly with the screens. We took a tiny warehouse space in London and some nights we couldn`t even shut the door it was so full.

  • 2019

    I released our fence and gate collections this year. We also outgrew our tiny warehouse space and moved into a bigger unit. We developed an amazing team.

  • 2020

    In 2020, COVID tested us all. I was homeschooling my children whilst trying to develop and release more product lines. We opened two more warehouses this year, Venlo and Aylesbury.

  • 2021

    This year has been our best yet. We have continued to grow and employ in a time of economic uncertainty. We also brought out exciting new lines, with more to come...

 

ABOUT OUR FOUNDER

Like many Londoners, I lived in a flat that was overlooked by over ten separate sets of neighbours. So I set out to create a screen for our garden.

I researched every material possible and fell in love with wood composite. It had the look and feel of wood, with the durability of plastic. It performed amazingly in UK weather. It was easy to work with, easy to coat, easy to make look incredible. I tested our first product by leaving it outside all winter – 6 months later, I couldn’t see a single change.

Quickly, neighbours and friends started to ask for screens for their own gardens – for privacy, as features, as trellises. I started to make more of them. That was 5 years ago. Today, I still hand-design every product. I care deeply about every single client’s experience. And I want to help you create the home of your dreams.
